Blazer Jobs is partnering with a supportive school district in Placerville, California, to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
The SLPA will collaborate directly with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services in both individual and group settings. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for student growth.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the SLP in implementing therapy plans and communication goals.

Conduct guided speech and language activities with students.

Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide feedback to supervising SLPs.

Support inclusive learning environments through collaboration with teachers and parents.

Participate in professional meetings and ongoing skill development.
Qualifications

Active California SLPA license or eligibility prior to start.

Associate or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.

School-based experience preferred but not required.
